About Shyvonne

NYC singer/songwriter Shyvonne embodies living art and takes you on a polychromatic journey like flipping through the pages of a storybook. Her music is an emotional rollercoaster of dance and tears, pulling from her dance, electrosoul, and hip hop influences to become a musical bouquet to establish a sound all her own, emotional house music.

A sonic storyteller, visual visionary, and genre-bending powerhouse, with a DIY spirit that’s taken her from opening for icons like Nina Sky, Sister Nancy, Dwele, Theophilus London, Estelle, Beenie Man & Machel Montano to headlining shows across the globe. Shyvonne is a force who has continued to glow with her own flow from London to LA, and Thailand to Trinidad. At home in NYC she has shined on eclectic stages from Afropunk, to Dumbo House, to most recently Lincoln Center (May 2025). From her appearance on Beyoncé.com, to premiering her self-directed 2020 visual album WAVES on Essence Magazine, and reminding us to bloom like nature through bops like “Be Like Water” & “Trust in the Wind”, Shyvonne is more than music—she’s movement, growth, and light. Her debut EP, entitled Back to the Beach, was released in July 2017, followed by her megamix Mind Games in 2018, and her most recent projects like Sunset Therapy (while living in Puerto Rico in 2021), and In My Element (2023) are focused on the symbolism and lessons of nature, as Shyvonne continues to lean towards the sun and cultivate her light in a complicated world.
