In one Lower East Side tenement, forty layers of wallpaper were found clinging to the walls - each piece applied by a new immigrant family. Using puppetry, mask and live action, Layer the Walls tells the incredible stories held within the layers.

Our shows utilize puppetry, mask and music as powerful and engaging storytelling tools. We are often inspired by the complicated, rich history of our home city, New York.
