Join Perfect City and The Catcalling Project on Zoom this summer! We want to build community knowledge with you and talk about how we can change the city together. We’ll read about the history of race, the future of activism, and ways we can be in solidarity against street harassment. Perfect City is a 20-year art and activism working group based at Abrons Arts Center on the Lower East Side. Our focus is on gentrification; we believe young people who grow up in NYC deserve more of a voice in making the city work for everyone. Come learn with us. Perfect City’s work together includes performances, walking tours, mapping workshops, research and public conversations about gentrification, street harassment, the history of racist real estate practices and more.
