BUFU’s EYEDREAM: Solidarity Is Possible But Not Inevitable This past summer, BUFU hosted the Eyedream Residency, a residency within their residency at “Eyebeam - Art & Technology”. Eyedream was made up of 17 artists, creators, healers, storytellers, technologists, organizers, and other lit ass people coming together to develop projects inspired by the theme, Solidarity is Possible, But Not Inevitable. This exhibition is a culmination of all the hard work, creativity, and magic shared throughout the month. The residency held four small group cohorts that participated in weeklong incubators with the option to work solo or collaboratively spanning the month of August. Each session concluded in a weekend of programming, exhibitions, performances, and turn ups. All Eyedream residents had access to BUFU, a collective space, computers, 3D printing and laser-cutting technology, Materials For The Arts runs, hard and soft skill trainings around organizing, grant writing, facilitation, financial planning, and photo/film editing technology, funded with support from Red Bull.
